How is the NRCHA Stallion Incentive Program different than the others?
  • Stallions, Owners, and Breeders are all connected to the earnings of the finalists.
  • All finalists receive earnings, not just the top two.
  • Managed and produced by the National Reined Cow Horse Association rather than privately owned.
  • Earnings applied to Performance and Produce records.
  • Subscription rates for stallions are designed to parallel their success, rather than limit opportunity.
Is there a limit to the # of Stallions that can subscribe?

The Stallion Stakes has always been open to any stallion wanting to provide bigger opportunities for their offspring to compete in all three events. The best will rise to the occasion and prove they have what it takes.

Subscription rates for stallions are designed to parallel their success, rather than limit opportunity.

Will this be offered at other events?

The intent of the Incentive Programs is to strengthen the relationships between stallion owners and breeders in our associations and throughout the industry.

The future of the Incentive Program includes:

  • Game changing payouts for the best trained horses in the world
  • Increased industry demand for reined cow horse stallions, mares, and progeny
  • Sell Out Attendance at Premier Events
  • Expanding opportunities for increased lifetime earnings of cow horses and their offspring.

BE SURE IT ANSWERS THE QUESTION

Is this replacing the Stallion Stakes?

No. The Stallion Stakes will continue to be a leading premier  event, special to NRCHA Subscribed stallions.  This is a change to the Subscribed Stallion program to stay relevant with industry standards and provide expanded earnings opportunity to our members and cow horses.

What if I already subscribed my stallion?

Any stallion subscription payments made  will be applied toward the new program.
